Gloria Nilson, REALTORS®, Real Living Goes Green as Company Recycles More Than Just its Former Name
Gloria Nilson Realtors , Press Release Add comments2.5 tons of metal, a quarter ton of paper, and a half ton of plastic being removed
MIDDLETOWN, NJ (July 28, 2010) – Gloria Nilson, REALTORS®, Real Living’s recent, comprehensive re-branding campaign resulted in far more than a new name – it took the company in a green direction as well.
As a result of the new designation, any signs, folders, letterhead, brochures, and other items associated with the former name, Gloria Nilson GMAC Real Estate, had to be discarded. Anything and everything is being recycled, including non-functioning electronics.
The ongoing, green, clean-up phase began in all of its offices across Monmouth, Mercer, Middlesex and Ocean Counties. A total of five dump trucks were filled with items marked with the retired brand name, and with non-functioning electronics. All this material was then sent to recycling facilities. Gloria Nilson, REALTORS®, Real Living’s leading partner in this green initiative is the recycling company 1-800-GOT-JUNK?.
“We recognize that anything we throw out today will impact the environment and lives of future generations,” says Patricia Bell, president of Gloria Nilson, REALTORS®, Real Living. “It is important for companies similar to our own, like those going through name changes and needing to get rid of large amounts of outdated items, to recycle. We all have a responsibility to our customers and to the environment.”
A total of 2.5 tons of metal, a quarter ton of paper, and a half ton of plastic has been recycled so far.
The new name and new relationship represent a comprehensive re-branding campaign set in motion to benefit customers and sales associates alike, and also reflect a new standard in residential real estate sales, including efforts to help better the environment.
